Please read these terms carefully before using Aurora. By using our service, you agree to be bound by these terms.
By creating an account or using Aurora, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use Aurora. These terms apply to all users including Free, Pro, Team, and Enterprise plan subscribers.
Aurora is an AI-powered IDE extension and platform that provides: AI chat and code assistance, inline autocomplete, autonomous code agents, semantic codebase search (RAG), and team collaboration features. Aurora connects to third-party AI providers (Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, DeepSeek) via our backend proxy or your own API keys (BYOK).
The Free plan includes access to Gemini and DeepSeek models with a 500,000 token monthly limit. Free plans may not be used for commercial production workloads beyond personal evaluation. Aurora reserves the right to modify free tier limits.
Paid plans are billed monthly or annually via Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically. You may cancel at any time — access continues until the end of the billing period. No refunds for partial months. Overage charges may apply if enabled on your plan.
You may NOT use Aurora to: generate spam, malware, or harmful content; scrape or reverse-engineer our systems; share accounts between multiple users on individual plans; violate any applicable laws or regulations; infringe on intellectual property rights of others.
We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and GDPR/DSG regulations. Conversation content is NOT stored on our servers by default. You retain ownership of code and outputs generated using Aurora. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Aurora is provided 'as is'. We aim for 99.5% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We are not liable for any losses arising from service unavailability, AI errors, or code generated by Aurora. Always review AI-generated code before deploying to production.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with or without notice. You may delete your account at any time from Dashboard → Settings.
These terms are governed by Swiss law. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Switzerland. For EU users, mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence also apply.
We may update these terms. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-app notification at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use of Aurora after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
